Representing Tamil Community in Ontario Budget 2026

We are proud to share that TCAM had the opportunity to represent the Tamil community and the Town of Milton in presenting key social and economic priorities and recommendations for the Ontario Budget 2026.

This presentation was made to the Ontario Government in the presence of :

• Hon. Zee Hamid, Associate Solicitor General for Auto Theft and Bail Reform & MPP for Milton

• Hon. Stephen Crawford, Minister of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement

Food for Life - Deepavali Food Donation Drive

This Deepavali, the Tamil Cultural Association of Milton (TCAM) partnered with the Milton Public Library’s Food for Life initiative to host a Food Donation Drive. With the generous support of our community, we collected over $700 worth of food items, which have been handed over to the Milton Public Library to help families in need.

This initiative reflects the true spirit of Deepavali — spreading light, kindness, and hope. We sincerely thank everyone who donated, volunteered, and supported this effort. As we celebrate Deepavali, may the light of this festival continue to inspire us all to spread joy and make a difference in the lives of others. 🎊
