Food for Life - Deepavali Food Donation Drive
This Deepavali, the Tamil Cultural Association of Milton (TCAM) partnered with the Milton Public Library’s Food for Life initiative to host a Food Donation Drive. With the generous support of our community, we collected over $700 worth of food items, which have been handed over to the Milton Public Library to help families in need.
This initiative reflects the true spirit of Deepavali — spreading light, kindness, and hope. We sincerely thank everyone who donated, volunteered, and supported this effort. As we celebrate Deepavali, may the light of this festival continue to inspire us all to spread joy and make a difference in the lives of others. 🎊

Adding Tamil Voices to the Milton Library
On September 17th, 2025 the TCAM Board members had a meaningful meeting with the CEO and Chief Librarian of Milton Public Library (MPL).
We were proud to present our initiative to expand the Tamil book collection at the library! The library will be providing us with the necessary guidelines to support this effort.
This is a significant first step in bringing more Tamil representation to our public spaces in Milton. With your continued support, we can build a lasting cultural legacy for our children and future generations.
This effort began as feedback and a strong voice from our community, and we are proud to have taken it forward to the library on behalf of everyone.
